(289) 271-5718Botulinum toxin — known as Botox, Xeomin, Dysport, or Nuceiva — is one of the most in-demand anti-ageing treatments today. Get ahead in your career with APT’s Foundation Toxin Training in Toronto. Learn the latest techniques to safely administer toxin injections and dermal fillers.
APT’s Foundation Toxin Training in Toronto is a one-day course for medical professionals. It is designed for those who want to advance their careers or work toward the internationally recognized International Certificate in the Principles and Practice of Clinical Injectable Therapies.
Most professionals pair toxin training with dermal filler training in the Foundation course. You can also split it into two separate days — toxin on one day, dermal filler on another.
Here is what makes our toxin training for physicians and nurses stand out.
The course begins with intensive pre-course materials. These cover the theory of toxins and dermal fillers at a university level. This prepares you for the hands-on portion that follows.
The morning session covers ideal beauty concepts, facial anatomy, muscle physiology, and the benefits and risks of Botox injections. You will also watch a live demonstration by one of our trainers. The course then focuses on facial injections in both the upper and lower face. Treatment sites include:
Large class sizes are a problem. With too many students, you won’t get enough injection time. Instructors can’t give everyone personal attention or track each student’s progress. It also makes asking questions harder.
A ratio of more than 2:1 means you leave without enough hands-on experience to feel confident. APT maintains a strict maximum of 2:1. You get your instructor’s undivided attention. You can ask questions freely and get the most out of your training.
Toxin Training in Toronto is led by APT Founder and Lead Practitioner Patricia Pezzano, BSc, BSc (NANS), RPN. She has over 20 years of experience with toxins and dermal fillers. She combines deep theoretical knowledge with clinical expertise to deliver a unique Botox training for physicians and nurses.
This course is for all medical professionals — doctors, nurses, and nurse practitioners — who want to become experts in toxin injections. We welcome participants from across Canada and around the world. Training dates are flexible so you can plan around your schedule.
We also offer an Online Training Toxin and Dermal Filler Module. This lets you learn the theory of Botox injections online and audit a 2-day course before committing to hands-on training.
APT Injection Training offers a wide range of courses in facial rejuvenation. Here is what else we offer:
This is a 2-day course for registered medical professionals. It combines theoretical pre-course learning, practical demonstrations, and hands-on training on live models. It is the minimum required to begin practising toxin and dermal filler treatments. It can also count toward the internationally recognized International Certificate in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Therapies.
APT is the only toxin training centre in North America offering true third-party certification. We partner with MATA training and OTHM — a globally recognized awarding body regulated by Ofqual and recognized by Qualifications Wales.
Your experience at APT can count toward an internationally recognized certificate. It requires university-level pre-course work (230 UK CME), 3 days of intensive training, a logbook, and short answer questions — all independently assessed by OTHM.
This is true certification. Other courses use only their own internal standards. APT has been independently assessed and certified. This endorsement reflects the quality you can expect from our Botox Training in Toronto.
Learn to administer dermal fillers using the cannula technique. This 1-day course covers similar topics to the Basic Filler Training Course. It uses the same pre-course material and 2:1 ratio with 7-8 live models. The hands-on training uses cannulas instead of needles.
This is the next step after Foundation Basic Filler and Lower Face Cannula Training. It is a 1-day course introducing cannula injections with a focus on advanced areas like the temples and tear troughs. It uses the same 2:1 ratio with 7-8 live models.
We recommend having at least 50 patients injected before taking this course. Adverse events in the temples and tear troughs can be severe and permanent.
This is a comprehensive 1-day hands-on course with live models. It covers hyaluronic acid dermal fillers for lip enhancement. Topics include filler history, FDA approval, contraindications, risks, hyaluronidase use, and emergency procedures.
The focus is on achieving natural, proportional lips through volume, definition, support, and contour techniques.
This online course covers the safe use of laser and intense light technology for cosmetic treatments. Topics include hair reduction and skin rejuvenation. Buying a laser machine is a major investment. This course helps you make the right choice for your practice and client profile.
You will learn core laser technology so you can evaluate machines on the market and choose the right one for your business.
This is an intensive 1-day course for dentists. It covers neurotoxin injections and lip filler services. Pre-course material includes anatomy, contraindications, risks, hyaluronidase use, and emergency procedures.
Hands-on training covers cosmetic toxin injections, TMJ injections, and lower face dermal filler. We use the same 2:1 ratio as all APT courses to maximise hands-on time and confidence.
Train with industry leaders in Botulinum Toxin A (BOTOX®) and Hyaluronic Acid for non-surgical cosmetic facial rejuvenation. APT Injection Training is the preferred trainer for the International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine (IAPAM).
