Unlock your full potential with a promising career in the field of medical aesthetics. Be an expert cosmetic injector with APT Injection Training’s Botox courses for Houston nurses.
Botox is one of the most popular minimally invasive cosmetic procedures in the United States, with over 7.4 million Botox injections administered in 2018 alone. Hence, APT has made its toxin and filler courses more accessible for US-based students.
A leader in producing top-notch aesthetic injectors, we offer the best medical aesthetic programs and industry-recognized certification. Our Botox training course Houston is specifically developed to cater to registered nurses, nurse practitioners, doctors, and other licensed medical professionals who want to expand their current practices and forge a career as highly skilled cosmetic injectors.
APT Injection Training is a trusted institution with a stellar reputation in providing high-quality Botox training in the US and Canada. We are best known for our introductory course, Foundation Toxin and Filler Certificate of Attendance, which students can upgrade to International Certification in Injectable Therapies.
Like many of our intensive training programs, our Botox courses for Houston nurses offer extensive theoretical and practical lessons based on industry-established best practices and the latest innovations in Botox and dermal filler treatment applications and techniques.
While this course is especially geared for entry into the field for physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, and practical nurses, we also have intermediate and advanced cosmetic injection programs for those practitioners already practising and looking to upgrade their skills.
Over the years, many of our graduates attribute our Botox training programs to paving the way for their professional success as highly skilled cosmetic injectors. And this continues to be our primary inspiration for striving to achieve the highest level of excellence in everything we do.
Here’s why we believe our Botox courses for Houston nurses is the best one out there.
One of our number one non-negotiables here at APT is maintaining an intimate learning environment by limiting each class to only two students per one instructor. We have found that this is the easiest way to provide our students with a personalized and immersive learning experience with complete access to all the materials and guidance they need.
Our students love that they have their instructor’s undivided attention, giving them the opportunity to ask questions about everything without hesitation. Students are guaranteed to have ample time to hone their injection skills because the same intimate learning setup is observed during hands-on training of our Botox courses for Houston nurses.
Our Botox courses for Houston nurses are often led by our Head of Faculty and APT Founder and Lead Practitioner Patricia Pezzano, RN, BSN, B.Sc (Biol), (NANS). She boasts many years of experience educating aspiring cosmetic injectors and is the force behind the successful medical spa in Oakville, APT Medical Aesthetics.
Like our other cosmetic injection programs, our Botox courses for Houston nurses include at least seven hours of uninterrupted hands-on injection training. It consists of expert demonstrations by a seasoned injector followed by actual hands-on training by you on live models.
Students are given a chance to practice and perfect their Botox injection skills, focusing on the upper and lower face. Each student will be provided with sufficient live patient models to practice on. There will be up to eight patients with different skin types and treatment concerns per day of training.
APT Injection Training offers Botox courses for Houston nurses alongside other Botox training programs for the following medical professionals:
In addition to our Botox courses for Houston nurses, APT Injection Training also has other training centred on facial rejuvenation, such as:
This is a two-day training course intended for registered medical professionals. It combines critical theoretical university-level pre-course learning, practical demonstration of procedures, and extensive hands-on training on live models. It is a stand-alone course that is the minimum required to begin practising toxin and dermal filler treatments. It can also be used as credit toward the more intensive, internationally recognized International Certificate in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Therapies.
APT Injection Training is the only training centre in North America to offer authentic third-party certification in conjunction with our UK partner, MATA training and OTHM—an internationally recognized awarding body. This means that you can apply the experience you have gained in our courses toward a globally recognized International Certificate in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Therapies.
The international certification involves completing extensive, university-level pre-course work (representing 230 UK CME), three days of intensive training, completion of a logbook, and short answer questions that are all independently assessed by OTHM, who then awards the certification. Other courses that “certify” are only to their standards, not in accordance with independently developed and evaluated criteria.
APT Injection Training has been independently assessed, including our processes, training materials, and other related matters and are certified by a recognized independent organization. It is a valuable endorsement that promotes the level of expertise and quality that you can expect from our Botox courses for Houston nurses.
Learn an adjunctive way to administer dermal fillers to clients via the cannula technique. This one-day course training will cover similar topics in the Basic Filler Training Course, including pre-course reading material, employing the same 2:1 trainee: trainer ratio with approximately seven to eight live models. Still, the hands-on training will involve the use of cannulas predominately in addition to needles.
This is the next step after Foundation Basic Filler Injection and the Lower Face Cannula Training Program. It’s a 1-day training course that continues with cannula injections, focuses on more advanced treatment areas, such as the temples and tear troughs and introduces the use of Radiesse – a longer-lasting filler composed of calcium hydroxyapatite. It includes pre-course reading material, employs the same 2:1 trainee: trainer ratio with approximately 7-8 live models for hands-on injections. This is highly recommended for professionals with prior experience injecting at least 50 patients before taking this course as the adverse events in the temples and tear troughs can be severe and permanent.
A comprehensive one-day hands-on training on live models and lectures, covering the latest types of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers for lip enhancements. It involves the same comprehensive pre-course material as the other filler courses. This course delves into different lip injection protocols combining both cannula and needle techniques. The focus is on lip analysis and how to employ various techniques to achieve volume, definition, support, and contour but, most importantly, to obtain natural-looking, proportional lips that clients will love.
This online training course is expertly written to support you with your theoretical learning on the safe and effective use of laser and intense light technology for cosmetic treatments, such as hair reduction and skin rejuvenation. Purchasing a laser machine is a significant investment that requires in-depth laser knowledge to make sure you make the correct purchase for your practice and client profile.
This course will help you do that by educating you on core laser technology to understand the individual machine nuances as you use them in your business. The objective is to enable practitioners to briefly assess the different laser machines on the market to help you choose the right tool for your practice.
It’s an intensive one-day training course for dentists seeking to add neurotoxin injection and lip filler services to their current scope of practice. It involves pre-course theoretical material (which covers both neurotoxin and dermal filler) that delves into anatomy, recognizing contraindications and potential risks, and using hyaluronidase for emergency interventions. The hands-on injection portion will include cosmetic toxin injections, TMJ injections, lips and lower face dermal filler indications. We employ the same customized 2:1 trainee: trainer ratio in all of our APT courses to ensure maximum hands-on injection and confidence when leaving the course.
APT Injection Training is the preferred training provider of the International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine (IAPAM). We are the only training centre to offer an International Certification in Injectable Therapies in North America. Our extensive and immersive courses will help you obtain the necessary skills and certification you need to effectively and safely administer Botulinum Toxin A (Botox®) and Hyaluronic Acid for facial rejuvenation.
