Absolutely. While certain procedures, like injectables, are restricted to regulated healthcare professionals under Ontario’s standards, the medical aesthetics field is much broader than you might think. Here’s a look at the top career roles that make up a successful aesthetic practice.

1 – Nurse Injector (RPN, RN, NP)

One of the most in-demand careers in aesthetic medicine, nurse injectors are regulated professionals who specialize in cosmetic injectables such as neurotoxins and dermal fillers. In Ontario, only nurses with a valid license (RPN, RN, or NP) may inject—provided they meet College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) requirements, including medical directives and proper training.
