Botox is one of the most popular injectable treatments today. Over 6 million treatments are performed globally each year. It is offered commercially as Botox, Xeomin, Dysport, and Nuceiva. It relaxes facial muscles to reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and other signs of ageing. It also addresses conditions like migraines, TMJ syndrome, cervical dystonia, and hyperhidrosis.
Demand for Botox continues to grow. Our Botox training for Ottawa medical aesthetics professionals is the perfect way to take advantage of this opportunity.
APT Injection Training is a leading provider of cosmetic injection certification for Ottawa-based professionals. We offer third-party accredited training for individuals across Canada. Our courses combine valuable theory and practical knowledge for healthcare professionals who want to become certified cosmetic injectors. We accept licensed physicians, dental surgeons, nurses, and practical nurses.
APT strictly maintains a 2:1 trainee to trainer ratio. Our students consistently report a better learning experience. Learning feels personal and hands-on.
Students don’t have to take turns. They get individual time with a live patient model. They are closely supervised and guided throughout. Our personalized approach helps students track their progress and leave as confident, well-trained cosmetic injectors.
Our Ottawa Botox training is led by APT Founder and Lead Practitioner Patricia Pezzano, BSc, BSc (NANS), RPN. She has over two decades of professional practice in facial rejuvenation. She combines deep theoretical knowledge with clinical expertise to deliver a truly unique learning experience.
Once you sign up, you receive pre-course reading materials. We encourage you to study them before training begins.
APT Botox training for Ottawa injectors is a one-day event. The morning lecture covers:

APT Injection Training offers a wide range of courses in facial rejuvenation. In addition to Ottawa Botox training, we also offer:
This 2-day course is for registered medical professionals. It combines theoretical pre-course learning, practical demonstration of procedures, and hands-on training on live models. It is the minimum required to begin practising toxin and dermal filler treatments. It can also count toward the internationally recognized International Certificate in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Therapies.
APT is the only toxin training centre in North America offering true third-party certification. We partner with MATA training and OTHM — a globally recognized awarding body regulated by Ofqual and recognized by Qualifications Wales. Your experience at APT can count toward an internationally recognized certificate.
The certification requires university-level pre-course work (230 UK CME), three days of intensive training, a logbook, and short answer questions. Everything is independently assessed by OTHM. Other courses use only their own internal standards. APT has been independently assessed and certified by a recognized organization.
Learn to administer dermal fillers using the cannula technique. This 1-day course covers similar topics to the Basic Filler Training Course. It uses the same pre-course material and 2:1 ratio with 7-8 live models. Hands-on training uses cannulas instead of needles.
This 1-day course follows Foundation Basic Filler and Lower Face Cannula Training. It introduces cannula injections and focuses on advanced areas like the temples and tear troughs. It uses the same 2:1 ratio with 7-8 live models.
We recommend having at least 50 patients injected before taking this course. Adverse events in the temples and tear troughs can be severe and permanent.
This comprehensive 1-day course covers hands-on training on live models. Topics include dermal filler history, FDA approval, contraindications, risks, hyaluronidase use, and emergency procedures. The focus is on achieving natural, proportional lips through volume, definition, support, and contour.
This online course covers the safe use of laser and intense light technology. Topics include hair reduction and skin rejuvenation. Buying a laser machine is a major investment. This course helps you choose the right equipment for your practice.
This intensive 1-day course is for dentists adding neurotoxin and lip filler services to their practice. Pre-course material covers anatomy, contraindications, risks, hyaluronidase use, and emergency procedures. Hands-on training includes cosmetic toxin injections, TMJ injections, and lower face dermal filler. We use the same 2:1 ratio as all APT courses.
Train with industry leaders in Botulinum Toxin A (Botox®) and Hyaluronic Acid for non-surgical cosmetic facial rejuvenation. APT Injection Training is the preferred trainer for the International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine (IAPAM).
