Investing in an injection certification, such as Botox training in Canada, is a clever strategy that will advance your professional career by leaps and bounds.

Botox (Botulinum Toxin) is one of the most popular non surgical cosmetic procedures in the field of medical aesthetics with over 6 million treatments administered every year around the world. This non-invasive injection treatment is offered commercially as Xeomin/Dysport/Nuceiva. Touted as the next best thing to a fountain of youth, Botox is primarily sought by clients for its anti-aging and facial rejuvenating benefits.

Make your time, effort, and financial efforts worthwhile by signing up for the best Botox course in the country—APT’s Foundation Toxin and Dermal Filler Training. Our injection certification programs are a cut above the rest and are guaranteed to provide you with an exhaustive body of theoretical and practical knowledge on all the latest Botox treatment techniques.

Our Botox Training Approach

Our Foundation Toxin Training here at APT is a one-day event specifically designed for medical practitioners who would like to add Botox in their repertoire of non surgical cosmetic treatment expertise to attract more clients or who wish to eventually take it to the next level by achieving a higher independent qualification from an internationally recognized International Certificate in the Principles and Practice of Clinical Injectable Therapies (Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Fillers).

APT also gives participants the flexibility on how they wish to take injection training in Canada, depending on their schedule availability and personal learning capacity.

  • First option: Learn all about toxin injection training with dermal filler training by taking the one-day Foundation Toxin and Dermal Filler Training course.
  • Second option: Participants can split the training into two separate days. Take one-day toxin training and have the dermal filler training at a later date or vice versa.

Here are other reasons why ours is a leading Botox course there is in the aesthetic medicine industry.

Be Educated by the Experts

Learn only from the leaders in the world of cosmetic treatments. Our Toxin Training is led by APT Founder and Lead Practitioner Patricia Pezzano, BSc, BSc (NANS), RPN. Sharing her passion for facial rejuvenation, she not only maintains a full-service medical aesthetics practise but also actively trains aspiring practitioners.

With more than two decades of professional practice, she brings to the table valuable insights and expertly combines her impressive theory base with clinical expertise, her best-kept secrets in achieving the “perfect practice” in both toxin and dermal fillers.

Intimate Classes (Trainee/Trainer ratio of 2:1)

At APT, we have found that smaller classes deliver dramatic results when it comes to each participant’s learning development and overall experience. We strictly implement a maximum ratio of 2:1 trainee to trainer ratio in all of our injection training here in Canada.

The majority of our previous participants shared that they have gotten more out of this type of personalized approach. Here’s why.

  • You have the instructor’s undivided attention.
Participants feel more confident about asking more questions and raising specific concerns. In large group sizes, there are some individuals who will be hesitant to voice out their own ideas.
  • You have more time for actual hands-on training.
One of the biggest and most obvious disadvantages of attending other Botox training courses with bigger class sizes is that not all the attendees will have sufficient time to practice on a live model enough to feel competent to properly administer the injection in a real clinical setting.
  • Instructors can personally keep track of each student’s progress Typically, in bigger classes, the instructor won’t be able to accommodate all the questions from the class or more importantly, personally and closely observe each participant’s individual learning progress.

Hands-on Training

When you sign up for APT’s Foundation Toxin Training course, you will be provided beforehand with university-level pre-course materials that cover all the theoretical aspects of toxins and dermal fillers. Botox training in Canada will begin with a lecture in the morning. Instructors give an overview of the following topics:

  • Ideal beauty concepts and facial features
  • Facial anatomy and muscle physiology
  • The benefits and risks associated with Botox treatments and cosmetic injectables

During the hands-on Botox training in Canada, facial injections in both the upper and lower face will be covered and include the following treatment sites:

The practical demonstration and actual hands-on training on live models will commence in the afternoon. This is a crucial component of the injection certification because it provides participants with a chance to witness how a toxin injection is administered safely and expertly by one of our trainers and eventually by themselves with step-by-step guidance from the instructor.

During the hands-on Botox training in Canada, facial injections in both the upper and lower face will be covered and include the following treatment sites:

  • Down-turned mouth (depressor anguli oris)
  • Eye jelly roll (hypertrophic orbicularis)
  • Gummy smile (LLSAN)
  • Mental crease / peau d’orange / chin dimpling (mentalis)
  • Platysmal neck bands (platysma)
  • Smoker’s lines of the mouth (orbicularis oris)
  • Frown lines (glabellar complex)
  • Forehead lines (horizontal)
  • Crow’s feet (periorbital rhytids)
  • Brow lift (medial & lateral brow depressors)
  • Bunny lines of the nose (nasalis)

INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATE IN CLINICAL AESTHETIC INJECTABLE THERAPIES

APT Injection Training is the only toxin training centre in North America to offer true third-party certification through our UK partner, MATA training and OTHM, an internationally recognized awarding body. OTHM, a globally recognized awarding organization, is regulated by the Ofqual (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) and recognized by Qualifications Wales. This means that you are able to apply the experience you have gained in our courses toward an internationally recognized International Certificate in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Therapies.

The international certification involves completion of extensive, university-level pre-course work (representing 230 UK CME), 3 days of intensive training, completion of a logbook and short answer questions that are all independently assessed by OTHM who then awards the certification.  This is a true certification. Other courses that “certify” are really doing it only to their standards, not independently developed and assessed standards.

APT Injection Training has been independently assessed, including our processes, training materials, and other related matters and certified by a recognized independent organization. This is a valuable endorsement that promotes the level of expertise and quality that you can expect from our Botox training in Canada course and its instructors.
